Low Key Photography Session

Well, our photography studio is almost completed and we took delivery of our Elemental triple head lighting kit (with a few modified and custom options) just before Christmas. Being a pretty new experience photographing in a studio environment, we’ve taken any opportunity to learn the daunting range of new skills required to create some eye catching, quality photographs.

We had a good session working on low key images last night, and I’ve added the ones I’m most pleased with to this thread. Each image was shot with a very simple setup of 1 400 w/s head and 140cm octobox with a black vinyl background.

All shots are with a Nikon D300 and Sigma 70-200mm f2.8.
